Instructions
1. Prepare a glass of water to clean your brushes before you start painting. You can place newspapers on the table or use an easel as a base for the painting by numbers canvas template.
2. Open the first paint pot and paint all areas with the same number first. From the larger areas to the smaller areas. This will prevent you from constantly having to wash your brushes and wasting paint. Then clean the brushes thoroughly to avoid color contamination.
TIP: Start painting with the dark colors and finish with the light colors.
3. Let the colored areas dry a bit before you fill other areas with paint.
4. Use the fine brushes (3 pieces are included in the set) to fill in the areas completely with paint up to the edge.
5. Present your wonderful masterpiece.

10 valuable tips
Tip1: Paint in the correct order
The most important aspect of painting by numbers is that you work out your works in descending order. This means that you start work from the large areas and then move to the smaller areas. This allows you to work faster and cleaner.
Unintentional soiling and color impurities remain a rarity with this procedure.
Tip 2: The darkest colors first
Another paint by number order tips is the sequence of color brightness. First you apply the dark colors and then those on your painting ground.
So you can see for yourself what influences the simultaneous contrasts of the color fields have on each other. You can also use this approach to paint over inaccuracies and make them unrecognizable.
Tip 3: The right lighting
Before the actual painting process can start, it is advisable to find the right lighting for the picture. Naturally, daylight through a window provides the best light source for seeing the colors in their real form.
However, if there is no bright space in the apartment, table lamps can be used as an alternative. In order to see the colors as realistically as possible, we recommend two different daylight lamps: a standing lamp that illuminates the image from the front right and an arm lamp that illuminates the image from above.
Tip 4: Fill the number with its correct color
Paint all areas of a number with their corresponding color before moving to the next color. This way you avoid confusion and don't forget any colored areas. Also make sure to paint as precisely as possible within the markings so that your motif later looks the way you want it to. When you have painted all areas of one color cleanly, you can wash out the brushes and let the paint dry in the meantime.
Tip 5: Keep your brushes clean
We will send you the necessary brush sets, which are perfectly tailored to the needs of the respective painting.
In addition, you should wash the brushes as often as possible during the painting process and spread them out on kitchen roll, for example. To wash the brushes, all you need to do is gently twirl the edge of the water container without exerting too much pressure on the brush bristles.
Tip 6: Two water containers are better than one
When painting by numbers, we recommend always having at least two water containers available - one for coarse washing and a second for the "rinse cycle". This can prevent paint from running into the brush ferrule that attaches the brush hairs to the wood. Dried paint in the ferrule can lead to brush hairs sticking out, which may make the brush unusable.
Tip 7: Choice of workplace
A quiet place is the best place to paint. Undisturbed, you can concentrate better and it helps to focus your concentration.
A calm environment has an almost meditative effect when painting by numbers.
Tip 8: Closing the paint pot
Close the paint container after use to prevent it from drying out. Otherwise the paint will dry with the lid open and become useless to you.
Tip 9: Cover the numbers
Covering the numbers in a painting is important because it gives your work a consistent look. Apply a second coat of paint and let it dry.
Don't rush to color the subject. Allow sufficient time for the paint to dry to achieve the desired intensity and coverage.
Tip 10: Nail polish remover
Did you accidentally get paint in the wrong place? No problem! The paint can be easily removed as all our paints are water based. For example, use nail polish remover to remove stains. Do not wipe over the stains, but gently dab around the area where the acrylic paint is.
